Mom’s been sick since last Friday and we don’t know what to do with her. She hacks and snots and sneezes all over us all day and night. We’re kind of over it with her. She’s very tired so we haven’t been walking very much and she feels bad about it so we’ve gotten more treats lately, so that’s ok.
Tonight we had an ice-lolly (that’s what Amelia’s mommy calls a popsicle, she lives in England) sounds fancy doesn’t it? Actually only I (Simon) had some, mom let me lick the stick and it sure was good.
So, mom’s sick but we think she’s improving. We’re back to sleeping in our bed with her so that’s a good sign.
Ta-Ta for now (we think that’s english too)

A very happy birthday to our friend Eddie in Alaska (sorry we are 3 days late, it’s not our fault, it’s mom’s). Eddie, we think you are super cool buddy~

Mama got a card in the mail today and you know who it was from? US!!! We asked grandma to help since we can’t write and stuff. Mama loved it. She’s the best mom ever and deserves a mother’s day card since she does good stuff for us like buy us food, give us treats, pick up our poop, take us for walks, and love us all the time even when we are cranky and loud.
We think all pups should give mother’s day cards~
On another note, this picture of me is what I’ve been showing Simon all week long! Love, Hallie~

Apparently she’s been busy this week with work stuff and doctor stuff and other stuff. So what does she do? Neglects our blog. In all honesty, our week was pretty low key, just did the usual. Eat, sleep, daycare, walk, and play ball. BUT today we made some new friends. We got a new neighbor and she has a lab puppy named Cash (after Johnny, cool name right?). We got to go out back today and play with him. We think we will be great friends. We’ll get mom to take some new pics soon.
Have a great week friends,
Simon & Hallie

Sit around with a ball in my mouth and watch Simon act dumb.
It went something like this:
BARK BARK BARK BARK—shove the ball in her face—BARK BARK BARK—-ooohhhh what are all of those toys doing out of the closet?——-get in the way and watch mom trip over me——MOLLY!!!!!! (the love of my life) is within reach—–lovin Molly all the way down the hallway ~bow chicka bow wow~ (Molly is a snugglepuppy that Simon loves a little too much and must be kept hidden)—–Molly is taken away—-eat some crunchies—–BARK BARK BARK——-attack Hallie’s face——-eat some crunchies——BARK BARK BARK——eat some more——-pass out.
And that’s how I spent my day. There were a few walks in there but nothing too exciting to write about. I miss Molly and must go pout about it~

Mom talks to us a lot ya know? Sometimes she talks on the phone and we listen. We are good listeners (we have kinda big ears for that) and we feel the need to provide some perspective on the latest happenings in the yorkie forum/chat/friends online world. Lately, there have been some “issues” (we just learned how to use quotes) that really need some doggie input.
Life is too short to be frustrated, upset, petty, ignorant, self-loathing, argumentative, hateful, cruel, or mean. It really, truly is. Sometimes humans just don’t get it. They spend so much time worrying and trying to make each other upset, but why? Humans need to just share some treats and go for walks together. Maybe play some ball and snuggle a little or lick a nostril like our friend Marcel or fling off the couch like Diggy or run the fence like Otis and Oliver. That’s the good stuff.
Life is about eating, loving, playing, and going potty. Why do humans have to make it so gosh darn difficult?
We think humans need to take a break, step back and smell some butt!
That’s all we have to say about it,
Simon “Sniffer Extraordinaire” and Hallie “I lost over half a pound” Ann

I must eat the shoe, I must rip it to shreds while mom tries to put it on. I don’t know why but it is the enemy. Love, Simon the SHOE KILLER

Steal all the yogurt. It’s a delicious, refreshing, must needed treat on an oh so scorching day like today. She tried to stick her fat little head in it but I blocked her and kept on licking. I will continue to get her back in my own super secret ways.
Love,
Simon “the SMART one”
