Dear Layla, while I was visiting my grandma I kind of had a crush on Princess. She’s a cat and I really liked her but she was kind of mean to me. She hissed and wanted to pounce on my face but I was careful not to get hurt. Here she is but I want you to know that you are my REAL girlfriend. Love, Simon
Grandma got up way early and had to go to work but we knew when it was time for her to come home and we would wait and wait and guess what? She always came home!!!
Gosh friends we didn’t realize it’s been so long since we wrote! Grandma came to see us and then we got in the car and drove 12 hours to her house! We met lots and lots of friends and found new fun things to do! We stayed there for 3 weeks then we got back in the car and drove back to NY but grandma drove with us! We had so much fun and miss her so much! We LOVE you Grandma!

In 3 more wake-ups grandma is coming!!! Mama says she’s flying here and then on Friday we are all going to pack up the car and go on a road trip to grandma’s house in Ohio! YAY for road trips, we haven’t been on one in a very long time. We are going to visit with her for however long we want to. That means lots of turkey and bacon and walks and planting flowers and having all the fun we want! We can’t wait!

It was FINALLY my turn to have a day with just mom! We took Hallie to daycare and then snuck out so she wouldn’t know. She’s sensitive like that. We went up to the mountains and walked around in the woods, then we went to the park and sat by the water. Mom tried to get me to go in the water but I wasn’t so sure with all those ducks swimming by so I just rolled in the grass and ate lots of treats! We had a great day, it was super fun!

Nope, I had to go to the dogtor yesterday and get my rabies shot! It hurt and I hated it but then I got to spend the day with mama for a girls day

Today is mother’s day so we let mom sleep in this morning and so far we have been on our bestest behavior. We aren’t barking like crazy, we aren’t fighting with each other, we aren’t begging for anything, we are being just perfect little kids! Maybe if we are REALLY good we will get a special dinner, hint hint!

Mom left us yesterday and she was happy about it! Whatever! When she came home she smelled like pigs, sheep, goats, horses, cows, chickens…..oh my gosh it was soooooo delicious. She said she went to the Animal Sanctuary where they take care of rescued animals so we forgave her. She smelled yummy……..like bacon and chicken. Sorry, mom we know you hate that but it’s true!
Here I am having a rare moment of calm, quiet, snuggly-ness (I think I made that word up) with mom so she figured she better get a picture because as you all know I am a VERY busy boy and I usually have much better things to do than cuddle like a big girl.

Not much has happened in the past week…..the water heater thing upstairs burst and flooded our apartment, mom took us for a walk and got sunburned because she doesn’t have fur, went to daycare to play….well actually only I (Simon) went to daycare, Hallie went home with mom and relaxed. I’m ok with it though because I was in luuuuuuuvvveeee with a Corgi. She was beautiful and I loved her a little too much and kind of got in trouble (hehe). Anyway, here are some pics of Hallie enjoying her day.
